The medieval fortress Het Steen, the splendid Butchers Guild Hall and the Great Market Square surrounded by former guild houses and the renaissance City Hall. The absolute grandeur of Antwerp is the Cathedral of Our Lady where some of the major works of Antwerp’s most beloved son Rubens are cradled.
